I read way too many reviews and settled on Samsung LN32B460 and it is all it is cracked up to be. A great picture. Keep in mind, as well, that if you are only sitting 4-5 from the TV you only need 32", despite everyones tendency to get 42". I strongly recommend checking out Samsung LN32B460 guide to buying Samsung LN32B460. Very big point: 1080p is only worth it for BIG (i.e. over 50") TVs. Plus DVDs, which have a very good resolution already, are only 420p. Highly recommend this TV as a great value.
