California has passed a new dredge law that immediately stops all dredging! Public Lands for the People (plp2.org) is going to file a lawsuit in Federal court to try to overturn the law. The new law places a moratorium on motorized dredge mining pending a full scientific review and update of rules by the California Department of Fish and Game.
